Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi has been planning a grand destination wedding in Goa on Feb 19 for quite a while now, but the actual marriage is happening today (Feb 16). Lara and Mahesh had a registered marriage in Mumbai, with only their families present. The marriage took place at Mahesh's house in Bandra.
Lara wore a white Ritu Kumar sari for the registered marriage. Check out the pic right here, posted by Mahesh on his Twitter page. He wrote, "Mr and Mrs. Bhupathi folks :-)"
The star had a fun hen party in Dubai, hosted by her friend Raza Beig, CEO of Splash and Iconic, in mid-January but there have been no other pre-wedding functions for her many B'wood friends. Lara had said that she was very excited about the celebrations in Goa, details for which she had been planning personally. Lots of her T'town colleagues are expected for the sangeet ceremony in Goa on Feb 18 and the reception on Feb 19.
